High in the Austrian Alps a solo pilot flies his high tech aircraft into a cloud filled canyon. A driving snow storm doesn't prevent a computer specialist leaving his car to walk into the Black Forest. Guided by satellite navigation both are drawn to an appointment they dare not miss. A tragic accident above the Denver skyline puts the head of the Global Geocache Society into a coma triggering a deadly game across Europe as Victoria Kavanagh, his Chief of Security, races to find a rare donor. Alerted by an Interpol Code Purple warning, Inspector Sean Mason gives chase to a predator, only to cross paths with Victoria. Can she be trusted or is she the one he is pursuing?
Geocache Errol Bader 9780956040329 Books
This first effort by experienced aviation businessman, Errol Bader, offers a good balance that will satisfy both the aviation enthusiast and the action-adventure fan. Geocache moves quickly all the while offering sufficient background "scenery" to give the story depth, while crafting a believable yet intriguing story with remarkably good character development and a story line that is contemporary without flogging the same old themes too often populating the book store racks. If you are tired of stories about rogue terrorists plots, government corruption, Knight Templar or "chick-flick" Kleenex novels, then Geocache is a wise choice. As a self published first effort, Mr. Bader offers a light, yet fast paced read that more than makes up for a lack of slick packaging and seamless editing of the big publishing houses. Thankfully intelligent and creative fiction continues to break through, and Geocache is one of these.Product details

Geocache Errol Bader 9780956040329 Books Reviews
The development of the characters and the sense of place were remarkable. Can't wait for the author's next book.
This was a great book about geocaching! I am an addicted geocacher myself (refer to [...] my geocaching name is rathergohiking) and have been waiting for a novel about geocaching to be published and finally got my wish granted. My only complaint is that the book was too short! The story line is great. This was a good effort by a first time author. I guess the next time I go out in a remote location in the woods to find a geocache in a snow storm, I'll be sure to watch my back! At the very least, I'll bring Spot, my geocaching hound dog for protection and be wary of caches that have huge rewards for first-to-finders.
This was a great mystery that was very difficult to put down. I can attest to this by the 3rd degree sunburn I received in Cabo san Lucas reading it by the pool.
Geocache is a fast read & an excellent story. Combining money, murder, mystery & world travel it offers the reader a fast paced story that keeps you guessing until the climax. Although the end seemed to come somewhat abrubtly, I certainly hope Mr. Bader will continue his literary pursuits as I believe he'll do nothing but improve with time. This book would make an EXCELLENT movie & I hope that happens.
All in all, a good story... but the book is poorly edited. Mis-use of "there" for "their", a whole chapter repeated and a reference to an American rock & roll band called The Dan Mathews Band... Really? Come on! If you are going to brag in the introduction about how well researched your book is and how all of the coordinates listed are real, couldn't you get the name of the band the writer name dropped correct? It's the DAVE Matthews Band. Things like this destroy the credibility and integrity of an otherwise good story. This would have been a REALLY good read if not for the clumsiness of the publisher.
Bought this to add to our traveling Little Free Library we take to geocaching events. Geocaching is misrepresented here as a vehicle for the plot, which is unfortunate. Medicore mystery book otherwise.
